Running Games Like The PS5?!

Last week, a rumor about the Nintendo Switch 2’s performance was leaked by “I’m A Hero Too.” This leak is known for leaking accurate reports about new developments in the gaming industry. I’m A Hero Too has reported that Nintendo Switch 2 (or the Switch’s successor) is capable of running games like the PS5?!

At the minimum, the Switch 2 is capable of running Final Fantasy 7 Remake. And the results were comparable to FF7R running and looking as good as it does on the PS5. It seems Square Enix possesses the dev kit for Switch 2, and they have already ported the game.

Square Enix said that the game, “took no time. “FF7R could be a launch game for the Switch 2, however, I’m A Hero Too, reported that “they are sure” not about the game launching for Switch 2.

New Camera Functions

I’m A Hero Too verified with previous rumors about a new camera function for the Switch 2. While this is not a new feature for Nintendo. Previously, they have incorporated camera functions to Nintendo DSi and 3DS. A previous tipster has reported that the new camera functions could incorporate VR in a big way.

Backwards Compatibility

I’m A Hero Too’s leak also reports about backwards compatibility for the Switch. We have seen rumors about this before. And they have been swinging in one direction or another.

However, the leaker has reported that Nintendo has tested out a few games already. Backwards Compatibility is no doubt one of the most desired features for the Switch’s successor. After all, the Switch has a massive library of games including its plethora of exclusives.

It would be a major selling point for the Switch 2. It would eliminate the concern for any Switch players wanting to upgrade to the new system without losing their library of games.

First Look at Gamescom

There are rumors that selected members of the press have been given a first look at the Switch 2. This occurred during the recent Gamescom show. If this report is accurate then there is a good chance that Nintendo will provide more information about this new console.

All rumors should be taken with a grain of salt until the respective developer releases information about it. However, I’m A Hero Too’s track record with leaks have been accurate in the past. And there have already been some of these reports that have been corroborated by insiders as well.

If the rumors are true. Then the Switch 2 will be a force to be reckoned with. And it has the likes of FF7R coming to the Switch 2. Then you can best believe that this system will be able to run almost everything. And that make Nintendo a powerful competitor for the likes of Sony and Microsoft.
