Two showcases in day without a big game show happening in the meantime? Thanks to the power of streaming that we got on September 14th. Honestly, I didn’t have any expectations from this State of Play. As a result, I am happy I didn’t because this was a great State of Play. And there are some big reasons why as go over everything from the State of Play.
Baby Steps
My impression of Baby Steps was “What the hell is this!?” I didn’t know what to make of Baby Steps. This trailer was bamboozling. Because I didn’t know whether I was supposed to hate it, love it, ignore it, or laugh?
Nonetheless I was intrigued by this game. And its stupid humor made me laugh. This reveal trailer was a good way for Sony to kick off it State of Play. Baby Steps comes out in the Summer 2024.

Hell Diver II
Hell Diver II received a new trailer. This trailer focuses on gameplay. The sequel of top shooter will be coming to PS5 and PC on February 8th, 2024.
Spider-Man 2
Okay, Sony lied about the State of Play not having any first party games. With only a month left, Sony showed another trailer for Spider-Man 2. And I don’t blame them either.
The trailer was a gameplay one narrated by Bryan Inithar, the creative director. Bryan touched upon traversal and the increased size of New York. There was a tease of additional villains, and the game has 65 alternative suits?
Since there is a lot of information on this game, I will be covering it more in a separate article. The game will be out on October 20th.
