A new message was also posted.

A day after its actual 24th anniversary, the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account posted a new artwork. This beautiful piece features Young Xehanort staring off in the distance. He's brandishing a translucent umbrella. The flowers behind Young Xehanort are Hydrangeas.
KH Director, Tetsuya Nomura, is the artist behind this exquisite piece of Young Xehanort. That’s not all Nomura has given us. He also posted a message.
The message reads, “We are currently working hard towards the 25th anniversary. Thank you for your support.” - Tetsuya Nomura
My Thoughts
First, it is a relief that Square Enix acknowledged Kingdom Hearts for its 24th anniversary. Personally, I love Nomura’s art, so it’s great to get a new piece from him. This one is beautiful.
Second, this is the second picture of Young Xehanort. In the previous one, Young Xehanort was also holding an umbrella in the rain. The difference between the new one and the previous piece is that Young Xehanort is smiling at the viewer. He’s peaceful and content in the first piece.
With two pictures of Young Xehanort in the rain, there’s a strong possibility he will appear in KH4. In KH Dark Road, he once told Eraqus that he plans to have fourteen vessels. The fourteenth would be the one to explore the new world.

Could we possibly see Xehanort in Quadratum? Does this Xehanort’s content demeanor mean that he could be a possible ally? Or even a possible friend to Sora?
All I know is that Nomura has been drawn Xehanort twice. While these artworks are not confirmations, there is definitely reason for Nomura to draw Xehanort twice. What possible purpose or role this Xehanort could serve is anyone's guess.

Third, there’s Nomura’s message. They are working hard towards the 25th anniversary?! Could this mean that the 25th anniversary is going to be huge for KH? What could Nomura and his KH teams be working on? Could these projects be announced for the big 25th anniversary?
Personally, I would be content with just knowing more about KH4. The main things would be its development and possibly release. Heck, I’ll even take a trailer. For right now, I’ll take the new artwork for the 24th anniversary with the solace that they are working hard for the 25th anniversary.
