Sonic X Shadow Generations

Sonic’s greatest rival is back in action.

Sega announced that Sonic Generation is receiving a remaster coming out this fall. However, this will not be a 1 for 1 remaster of Sonic Generations. This is because Shadow the hedgehog will also be in the game! That's right. Shadow the Hedgehog will be playable along Modern and Classic Sonic.

Shadow's return will introduces another unique experience along the two Sonics. The black hedgehog will also have new powers and abilities. Power and abilities that Shadow has never unleashed before. Shadow will also be taking on Black Doom again. Thus we will be reliving the story of Shadow's own game.

Sonic X Shadow Generations will also involve a complete remaster of previous Generations game. This will come with fresh remastered versions of 2D and 3D iconic stages. Being a remaster, the game will have enhanced visuals and bonus content

Reaction

While I am happy that there is a remaster of Sonic Generation in the works. As this previous Generations game was one of my favorite main Sonic games. Adding Shadow in the mix is exciting prospect.

Shadow haven't playable in a Sonic game since Episode Shadow. Episode Shadow is the DLC for Sonic Forces. A mainline Sonic game which I was not too fond of.

Since I never played Shadow the Hedgehog. I will forward to experience Shadow's story for the first time. In addition, I can replay Sonic Generations too. This is going to be an awesome remaster of already amazing Sonic game.
